The total number of coronavirus cases in India has surged to 24,942 while the death toll has risen to 779, more than 1000 cases have been reported in eight States and UTs including Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh, Further 5210 COVID-19 patients have been cured discharged or migrated in India.
