North Macedonia has joined NATO





North Macedonia has officially joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) becoming the alliance’s 30th member.

What is NATO?

North Atlantic treaty organization.
also called the North Atlantic Alliance, is an intergovernmental military alliance between 30 North American and European countries. The organization implements the North Atlantic Treaty that was signed on 4 April 1949.[3][4] NATO constitutes a system of collective defence whereby its independent member states agree to mutual defence in response to an attack by any external party. NATO's Headquarters are located in Evere, Brussels, Belgium, while the headquarters of Allied Command Operations is near Mons, Belgium

About the NORTH MACEDONIA -

If Gains his independence in 1991 as one of the successor states of Yugoslavia.
The currency - Macedonian denar
Largest city - Skopje
Population - 20 lakhs.

NATO airstrikes against Yugoslavia lasted from 24 March 1999 to 10 June 1999. The Republic of Macedonia was already an independent country at that time but suffered indirectly because of the influx of many Kosovar refugees.

North Macedonia have to change his name after that Greece allow Macedonia to join the NATO. In the treaty, NATO community will say it clearly. The official name of North Macedonia is "The Republic of North Macedonia"

Speaking last Friday, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said: “North Macedonia is now part of the NATO family, a family of thirty nations and almost one billion people. A family based on the certainty that, no matter what challenges we face, we are all stronger and safer together.”

The withdrawal of the Greek veto resulted in the European Union on 27 June approving the start of accession talks with the Republic of Macedonia, which were expected to take place in 2019, under the condition that the Prespa deal was implemented and the country's name was changed to Republic of North Macedonia.

Article 5 is the cornerstone of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and states that an attack on one member of NATO is an attack on all of its members. But despite its importance, NATO has only invoked Article 5 once in its history—in response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001

Russia's impact for North Macedonia's joining of NATO.

Siberia is only one country on the Balkan's region who support Russia. after the joining of  North Macedonia, there only the one country Siberia left Alone and surrounded by all the 30 NATO countries, So there is no power of Russia in this region.
