A 55 years old Central Reserve police Force (CRPF) personal died on 28 April 2020 due to coronavirus infection.
This is the first death due to the pandemic among the about 10 lakh personnel strong Central Armed police Forces (CAPFs) or the paramilitary forces.
At least 45 other personnel from this battalion have been admitted with coronavirus infection.
