Today's Coronavirus Cases In India(5/4/2020)

The number of cases of the novel coronavirus across the globe crossed the 1 million mark as the global death toll topped 50,000.

The total cases rose to 3,577 tonight. India recorded the highest number of cases (601) and deaths (12) on Friday amid an unprecedented surge in the count over the last week linked to a controversial religious gathering in Delhi. More than 1,000 people who attended the religious held by Islamic group Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi last month have tested positive, the government said on Saturday. 

US President today said that he has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to supply hydroxychloroquine tablets that can be used to treat COVID-19 patients.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today tweeted his image of lighting lamps. He had asked the people to turn off their lights today at 9 pm for nine minutes to fight the darkness of coronavirus.
