WHO's biggest funder US stops funding

US President Donal Trump said he's halting funding to the World Health Organization, saying it promoted China's disinformation about the coronavirus. He accused the UN body of covering up the virus spread after it emerged in China, adding it must be held accountable.

The US is WHO's single biggest donor, providing $400 million in 2019, nearly 15% of its budget.
