*In 2006 the United Nations decided to observe world Migratory Bird Day on two particular dates in year- the second Saturday in May and October.
*, World Migratory Bird Day in 2020 will be celebrated on 9th May and 10 October 2020.
*The day aims to bring attention to the need for conservation of Migratory birds and their habits.
*"Birds connect our world" is the theme for the year 2020.
